Puddles on Jalan Kemang Utara IX Recede completely

The heavy rain that occurred yesterday evening triggered the Mampang River to overflow, caused puddles on Jalan Kemang Utara IX, Bangka Urban Village, Mampang Prapatan Sub-district, South Jakarta. The inundation completely receded at 7.30 AM, Wednesday (1/31).

Since at 7.30 AM, vehicles can now pass without puddles

Bangka Urban Village Head, Firdaus Aulawi said Jalan Kemang Utara IX was inundated at a height of up to 20 centimeters, making it quite difficult for motorists to pass by.

"Since at 7.30 AM, vehicles can now pass without puddles," he expressed, Tuesday (1/31).

PPSU Personnel Overcome Flooding on Jalan Kelapa Dua

He added six PPSU personnel deployed to clean garbage clogged in the water channels. "To manage traffic flows, we coordinated with the South Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency," he explained.

Dede (32), one of the motorists uttered that the inundation caused traffic jams because vehicles had to move slowly.

"They (PPSU and Transportation Sub-agency) are very helpful," he stated.
